Dubai is located on the Eastern coast of the Arabian Peninsula, in the
south west corner of the Arabian Gulf.

of trade and commerce between East and
West, Dubai is in an ideal position to

Middle East, North and South Africa, the
Indian Subcontinent and the CIS.
Moreover, Dubai occupies a time zone

in connecting markets as disparate as
the Far East and the USA.

international outlook and liberal
government policies are attracting
investors in a big way. Activities such
as trade, transport, tourism, industry
and finance have shown steady growth and

Dubai Tourism and Social Life
The emirate embraces a wide variety of
scenery in a very small area. In a
single day, the tourist can experience
everything from rugged mountains and
awe-inspiring sand dunes to sandy

districts and from ancient houses with
wind towers to ultra-modern shopping
malls. The annual Dubai Shopping

the construction of some of the tallest
skyscrapers and largest projects in the
world such as the Emirates Towers, the
Burj Dubai, the Palm Islands and the
world's tallest, and most expensive,
hotel the Burj Al Arab.
