Ajman
is one of the seven Emirates that from
the United Arab Emirates (U.A.E.). The
Emirate lies on the Arabian Gulf Coast
extend 16 Kms. The total area of Ajman
is 259 Kms. Its population estimate is
about 360,000 thousand as the year of
2008.

Ajman
enjoys being located in the middle of
the Emirates as a whole. It has a border
with Al-Sharjah and only 10 Km to Dubai
in the south and Umm Al Quwain in the
north. There are many roads that these
Emirates share together. Ajman is near
to the ports of neighbouring Emirates.
It is near the international airports of
both Sharjah and Dubai.

Economy

Ajman has distinguished position among
the other Emirates in the nation; Ajman
has achieved so much because of the
opportunities it provides at industrial
and commercial investments. Comparing
the share of Ajman in the countries
[GDP] to that of the rest of the country
between the years 1975-2008, shows that
Ajman has achieved significant economic
development at the national level, this
shows the counter balancing economic
development that the U.A.E. has
achieved. Ajman’s GDP counts for more
than AED 10 billion.
Ajman Tourism and Social Life

Ajman’s location within a short flight’s
distance from key markets in Europe and
Asia, combined with its beautiful
beaches, solid transport infrastructure
and a warm and welcoming culture, make
the emirate an ideal vacation spot. With
busier and more crowded emirates
adjacent, Ajman has become a place for
vacationers to get away from it all with
many luxurious hotel offerings. A number
of five-star hotels are slated for
completion along the Ajman Corniche and
elsewhere around the city.
