The Cayman Islands is a British territory that is famous for being a financial capital in the Caribbean. The three islands that make up Cayman Islands are the Grand Cayman, Little Cayman and Cayman Brac.

Cayman islands is the main financial center in the Caribbean. And although it is a British territory, surprisingly enough, there is nothing so British about the Islands. The Grand Cayman for instance, is more Americanized than British as large malls are built and SUVs run around and even looking around for parking lot spaces. This area is also famous for banking and taxes and it uses the US dollars as if it was their national currency. All this description may point to the same characteristic of the Cayman Islands. However, there is actually so much more to this small nation than what is already obvious.

Cayman Economy

A major international financial center in the Caribbean, the Cayman Islands have banking and investment, hedge fund formation, insurance and general corporate activities as its biggest sectors.

The Cayman Islands is really successful in being a financial capital in this area and as a matter of fact, it already has become the 5th largest banking center in the entire world. Cayman Islands is home to around 270 plus banks that cater to both domestic and international clients.

Of the annual Gross Domestic Product of the Cayman Islands, tourism accounts for at least 70%, and among the tourists that visit this part of the Caribbean, 99% visit the Grand Cayman. The major cruise ship port in Cayman Islands is George Town, bringing in at most 22,000 of tourists per day, 5 times a week depending on how many ships are operating on the port.

The Seven Mile Beach is one of the most famous attractions in the entire world and it is located in Grand Cayman. Aside from the Seven Mile Beach, the Pedro St. James Castle also draws in tourists to Cayman Islands who want to explore the history of the area.

Cayman Islands is also most famous for its scuba diving destinations that boast of its crystal clear waters. Snorkeling locations where visitors can swim with stingrays are also popular like the Stingray City in Grand Cayman.

How do I buy a freehold plot on Little Cayman Estate?

•Firstly you pay a $2000 reservation fee and we take your plot off the market for 14 days.
•We can provide you with a draft copy of the reservation notice and draft copy of the contract are available on request.
•Complete a reservation form, complete with a copy of a passport and two utility bills sent to us via fax/email/post.
•Your reservation fee is then credited towards your deposit of $15,000 leaving a deposit balance of $13,000 payable directly with the developers.

You will then receive contracts for you to sign and return complete with a extra copy for your records. These will be countersigned and stamped by the Cayman government.

You can then spread your remaining payments interest free across 3 years agreed between yourselves and the developer, everybody qualifies.
